If you are turning in a pride card for the drawing or ice cream make sure to put your name on it.  First and last name.


Candy, soda and sugary drinks are not allowed in the hallways or classrooms. Lunchtime ONLY!!!!


Cell phones are NOT to be used during the school day.  When you get to school they are to be turned off and stored in your locker and not brought out for any reason until the school day is over.


Students MUST have a pass to return to a classroom after lunch, and they may NOT go back to their lockers after lunch.  Go directly from the cafeteria/stage to outside.


Get ready for the March Madness Dance on March 3rd!  Wear your crazy socks and get ready for some fun and music in the gym.  Tickets will be on sale starting Monday, Feb. 27 from Tammy in the office.  Price is $3 or $2 if you show your ASB card.  You will not be able to purchase a ticket if you do not get your library fines paid THIS WEEK!  Glow bracelets will also be on sale the day of the dance.  See you there!


Library Notices will be delivered during homeroom on Wednesday.  Please Note:  Library fines must be paid by Friday, February 24th,  in order to attend the Spring Dance on March 3rd.  Also, you need to pay your fines in order to check out additional books.

The 8th grade End of Year Celebration is at Silverwood Theme Park.  During the second semester, any student who is either failing two or more core classes (as reflected by their 2nd semester grades), has two or more school suspensions, or has excessive tardiness will not be eligible to attend the 8th grade End of the Year Celebration at Silverwood Theme Park.

Sandpoint High School, Sandpoint Middle School, and Forrest Bird Charter School will have their art on display at the Panida Little Theater/POAC Office on First Avenue.  The opening Artist’s reception is Monday January 16th at 5:30 pm.  The art will be on display through February.

Our Sources of Strength program is looking for Twister floor mats for a fun upcoming activity.  If you have an old Twister floor mat that has been collecting dust in your game closet, and you would like to donate it to a great cause, please drop it by the counseling office! We are looking to collect 6 to 8 of them, total! Thanks!!!

If you are turning in a pride card for the drawing or ice cream make sure to put your name on it.  First and last name.


Candy, soda and sugary drinks are not allowed in the hallways or classrooms. Lunchtime ONLY!!!!


Cell phones are NOT to be used during the school day.  When you get to school they are to be turned off and stored in your locker and not brought out for any reason until the school day is over.


If you are attending games at SMS you must stay in the gym during the game.  If you leave you will not be allowed to re-enter the gym.


Students MUST have a pass to return to a classroom after lunch, and they may NOT go back to their lockers after lunch.  Go directly from the cafeteria/stage to outside.


Attention:   Library fees must be paid in order to attend school dances.  The Valentine's Day Dance is quickly approaching. The deadline to pay fees is the Friday before the dance.  If you have any questions about this please talk to Mrs. Curtiss.


LIBRARY NOTICES will be delivered today during homeroom.  Please read your notice and make sure to turn in the book indicated and pay fines.  Friday, February 10th, is the last day to pay fines in order to attend the Valentine Dance.


Reading is the Ticket Countdown forms are available.  If you spend at least ten hours reading just for fun, you can earn a FREE ticket to Silverwood Theme Park!

Your English teacher will have these forms available starting on Monday, February 6th.   The deadline for the completed student tally sheets to be turned in is Wednesday, March 15th.    





MATHCOUNTS meets Wednesday of this week, from 1:30-2:30 in Mr. Lynch's room 26.  Coach Lynch needs to go to the Dentist Thursday so we practice Wednesday!  We will practice the countdown round, where teams battle each other for mathematical superiority.  See you in room 26 on Wednesday for MATHCOUNTS.  Coach Lynch


There are only 3 school days left to pay your Library fine if you want to go to the Valentine Dance!!!!!


This Thursday Feb 9th Pizza Party for students who participated in Future City. After school til 3:45 pm in the Cafeteria

All students who took the class are invited... Please let Mrs. Gaddie know by Tuesday the 7th if you are planning to attend.

We will show the competition models from Boise!


“Art for Human Rights”

Sandpoint High School, Sandpoint Middle School, and Forrest Bird Charter School will have their art on display at the Panida Little Theater/POAC Office on First Avenue.  The opening Artist’s reception is Monday January 16th at 5:30 pm.  The art will be on display through February.


End of the year 8th Grade Celebration

The 8th grade End of Year Celebration is at Silverwood Theme Park.  During the second semester, any student who is either failing two or more core classes (as reflected by their 2nd semester grades), has two or more school suspensions, or has excessive tardiness will not be eligible to attend the 8th grade End of the Year Celebration at Silverwood Theme Park.

Our Sources of Strength program is looking for Twister floor mats for a fun upcoming activity.  If you have an old Twister floor mat that has been collecting dust in your game closet, and you would like to donate it to a great cause, please drop it by the counseling office! We are looking to collect 6 to 8 of them, total! Thanks!!!
