SMS News

Students are not to be by the windows on the north side of the building during

lunch. There are classes going on and you are interrupting them. Please do not

hang out by the doors or the windows.

Hola Costa Rica Travelers!!

This is a reminder that we have a meeting this Friday (12/1) right after school in Mrs. Marine's room.

This is our only meeting in December. Please be sure you have all your forms in by this Friday. If you

have misplaced them, you can find them on the EcoTeach site.  Also, we would like to remind everyone to

work on getting your passport if you don't already have one. Sometimes they take awhile to process. See

you there!!

Sandpoint Elks Lodge is hosting a Hoop Shoot Contest Saturday, January 6th at Farmin Stidwell Elementary.

 Each school will send one winner from each age group.  They will need to show a birth certificate at registration

time.  For more information contact Mike Hook at 208-946-6884.

OIDFY will be having a get together today, Thursday, to learn a few tricks to tying useful knots that will help your

outdoor shelters stay up during harsh weather conditions.  Join us to check it out; this Thursday in Mrs. Sparks'

office during 1st and 2nd lunch!

Attention!! The library is giving away one poster from the Book Fair each week!  

How?  The library will hold a drawing each week.  To enter the drawing you must fill out the question of the week

in the library.  You can enter the drawing one time per week.

When?  Have your entry turned in by 6th period on Wednesday.  The winner will be announced in the student

bulletin on Thursday.

The winner of the first library poster drawing is EVAN DARLING!!!  Congratulations Evan!  Come on down to the

library and get your poster!

"Calling all dancers!

If you would like to participate in dance team you must attend the informational meeting

on Tuesday, December 5th at 2:35.  A parent/guardian does not need to attend, but you

must have transportation from school.  The meeting will take about 30 minutes.  If you

cannot attend the informational meeting, please make arrangements with Mrs. Watson.

MATHCOUNTS meets today in Mr. Lynch's room 26 at 2:30-3:30 for another great day of problem solving and fun

.  Remember that even though Basketball practice has started, you can still come to part of MATHCOUNTS and

quickly dress down for your 3:30 practice.  See you directly after school at 2:30  in room 26 for MATHCOUNTS!

Lost and Found is overflowing.  Please check for your lost items.  During Christmas

break everything on the lost and found table will be donated.
