The meeting will take about 15 minutes. All paperwork will be handed out at this time. You must be passing all of your classes with a "C" average and must be in good standing with the school rules and policies to be eligible. The season starts on Monday Oct. 23rd and ends on Saturday Dec. 9th at districts at CD'A High school. If you are going to attend our home contests you must have your ASB sticker to get in for free. If not you will have to pay $1.00 at the gate. All students must come in through the doors where tickets are being taken. It is the policy of the Middle School that once you are in the contest you are not allowed to leave without permission from the on duty administration for safety reasons. If you leave the contest you will not be allowed to come back in the contest. Please make sure you understand the rules of home contests so the safety and accountability of our students is upheld. Interested in joining a club at school? A club that promotes kids to lead a happy, healthy, and drug free life? Idaho Drug Free Youth (IDFY) might be the club for you. IDFY focuses on the positives and avoids preaching the negatives. We transcend the typical “drug prevention” programs, and put our efforts towards helping youth embrace a healthy lifestyle – one where they are full of confidence , inspiration, and acceptance. Our mission is to “empower youth to lead happy and healthy lives.” IDFY will meet in Mrs. Sparks’ office once, every other week and sometimes once a week. Listen to the daily bulletin for weekly/biweekly meeting times. Permission slips are required before attending meetings, and these slips can be found on the table outside the office. FROM THE LIBRARY: Library notices for fines and overdue books will be delivered during homeroom on Wednesday. Please check the due date in your library book - you may need to turn in or renew. Come in and get a book for the long weekend!! Enrollment for the new 4-H year begins on October 1st. Attend the Bonner County Family Fun Night event on October 7th at 6:00pm at the Bonner County Fairgrounds to learn more. Pick up a flyer on the table in the hall by the office if you’re interested. Yearbooks are on sale for $25.00. Coats 4 Kids - SMS has a collection box in the hall by the Counseling center - drop off your new or gently used coat, winter hats, scarves, gloves, mittens or boots before October 27th DO NOT bring dogs or any pets into the gym area or school without permission. Some of our students and faculty are allergic to pet dander. Please check with the Principal for any modifications to this policy.
