Only 80 yearbooks left to sell!  We cannot order any more copies, so make sure you reserve yours today.  $25 = Please pay Tammy in the office.


FROM THE LIBRARY:  The last day for students to check out books from the library is Friday, May 12th.  All library books are due by MAY 26th.

The library will be having a book sale beginning on Friday, May 26th.  Books will be on sale for the amazing price of 25 cents and up to one dollar!

Please bring in Litehouse Lids for the library.  Each lid is worth 50 cents towards new books!

The student who brings in the most lids will receive a $20 gift certificate from Vanderfords!

The library has four final POSTERS up for draw!!!

Put your name on a sticky note and put it on the poster you want to win!!

We will draw the winners on Friday,  May 12th!!


Every Monday from 3-5pm the Sandpoint Library is offering a Teen Homework Group.  This is an informal drop-in program for teens looking for a quiet space to do homework after school.  Students can get a little help with assignments from the library staff, volunteers, or from each other.


SHS swim team captains, Payton Bokowy (girls) and Garrett Bamer (boys). We would like to have a meeting during the 8th grade lunch for those interested in high school swim.


Sandpoint High School will not be hosting our 8th graders for tours this spring; however, on August 30th there will be an evening orientation at SHS for incoming freshmen, where students will be able to meet all of their teachers and get a tour at that time.


All Students MUST check in with their Homeroom teacher before going to another class or you will be marked absent.


Only students with a pride card should be coming to the cafeteria on Fridays during homeroom.  Teachers please only send students who are turning in a pride card.


NAME YOUR TRUSTED ADULT - Sources of Strength has a poster pinned up in the 7th grade hall.  You can come to the office to get a sticky note, write on it who your trusted adult is and stick it to the poster.


The Middle School Coloring/Expressionism Group has started. You must signup in advance to attend. 7th grade days are Monday and Thursday. 8th grade days are Tuesday and Friday. Space is limited. Mrs. Curtiss will bring you a lunchtime hallway pass beforehand, and you must have this pass to go to the library.  Bring your lunch to the library.  Signup in the library. Please see Mrs. Curtiss with any questions.


Sports Physicals for 2017-2018 School Year - Family Health Center on May 31 from 6-8 pm.  Cost is $10.00.  Parents must attend.  You must bring your immunization record.

Yoga! Underground Kindness will be sending out an expert in Yoga to run an after-school Yoga club! This club will be suitable for all experience levels. Make sure you wear, or bring clothing suitable for this activity. If you plan to attend one or more of the days, please sign up in the office!

CHEER TRYOUT OPEN PRACTICES: For all those interest in the upcoming 2017-18 season. Starting April 17, Mon, Wed, and Thurs 3:30-5:30. Meet in the SHS commons. Open to all guys and gals, attending SHS next year.

Silverwood - The deadline to pay the 8th grade Silverwood trip is May 19th.  If you are going to Silverwood bring in your permission form with the money ASAP.  If you are not planning on going please come to the office and let Tammy know.


End of the year 8th Grade Celebration

The 8th grade End of Year Celebration is at Silverwood Theme Park.  During the second semester, any student who is either failing two or more core classes (as reflected by their 2nd semester grades), has two or more school suspensions, or has excessive tardiness will not be eligible to attend the 8th grade End of the Year Celebration at Silverwood Theme Park.  All School fees must also be paid in full by May 19th.
