Congratulations to Nora Kusler and Sarah Hopwood, winners of the 3rd quarter pride card drawing.

The office has a pair of ski boots that were left at Schweitzer Mountain on Friday.  If they belong to you come to the office and claim them.

All Students MUST check in with their Homeroom teacher before going to another class or you will be marked absent.

Only students with a pride card should be coming to the cafeteria on Fridays during homeroom.  Teachers please only send students who are turning in a pride card.

College Wise Night

Guest speaker Tom Barry, M. ED., from Stanford University will be talking about topics such as College Admissions, Finding the right fit, the benefits of starting early, and college shopping. Parents and students 8th-11th grade are invited to attend!

If you have stickers on your lockers now would be a good time to start taking them off.  In the future please do not put stickers on lockers.

Auditions for Missoula Children's Theatre's production of Gulliver's Travels will be held on Monday April 24 at Farmin Stidwell Elementary in the gym followed by rehearsal from 6-8pm.  Auditions are open to students age 5 to grade 12.   

NAME YOUR TRUSTED ADULT - Sources of Strength has a poster pinned up in the 7th grade hall.  You can come to the office to get a sticky note, write on it who your trusted adult is and stick it to the poster.

.....and the winner of the weekly library poster drawing is............STEPHANIE BISHOP!!!

The Middle School Coloring/Expressionism Group ​starts this week. You must signup in advance to attend. 7th grade days are Monday and Thursday. 8th grade days are Tuesday and Friday. Space is limited. Mrs. Curtiss will bring you a lunchtime hallway pass beforehand, and you must have this pass to go to the library.  Bring your lunch to the library.  Signup in the library. Please see Mrs. Curtiss with any questions.

Fishing Club! North 40 will be here to host a fly fishing lesson and demonstration. Please come sign up in the front office.

CHEER TRYOUT OPEN PRACTICES: For all those interest in the upcoming 2017-18 season. Starting April 17, Mon, Wed, and Thurs 3:30-5:30. Meet in the SHS commons. Open to all guys and gals, attending SHS next year.

The forestry contest is quickly approaching! The date is set for May 11, 2017 If you are interested in testing your knowledge of the forest and getting a free barbecue lunch, come see Mr. Lyon in room 7 by March 24th to sign up and get additional information. I hope to see you soon!

End of the year 8th Grade Celebration

The 8th grade End of Year Celebration is at Silverwood Theme Park.  During the second semester, any student who is either failing two or more core classes (as reflected by their 2nd semester grades), has two or more school suspensions, or has excessive tardiness will not be eligible to attend the 8th grade End of the Year Celebration at Silverwood Theme Park.  All School fees and fines must also be paid in full by May 19th.
