Students who have not purchased an ASB sticker need to do so by next Monday or


they will not be allowed to attend practices or games.  If a child cannot afford


one they need to talk to Mr. DeMers by Friday.




FROM THE LIBRARY:  Late notices from the library will be delivered on Friday, September 22nd during


homeroom.  Please check your due dates in your library book.   You are allowed to renew your library book.



Yearbooks are on sale for $20.00 until October 1st then the price goes up to $25.00.


Coats 4 Kids - SMS has a collection box in the hall by the Counseling center - drop off your


new or gently used coat, winter hats, scarves, gloves, mittens or boots before October 27th



Soccer - Sandpoint Rec League 2017 Fall Season - registration through September 30th.  Forms are available on


the table in the hall by the office.


DO NOT bring dogs or any pets into the gym area or school without permission.  Some of our students and


faculty are allergic to pet dander.  Please check with the Principal for any modifications to this policy.





FREE Movie Night - Paper Tigers at Sandpoint High School, Thursday September 21 at 6:00 pm

Volleyball - Practice -   7th grade 2:30-4:00 Monday through Friday


7th grade volleyball game Thursday at SMS. Games starts at 3:30


8th grade 4:00-5:30 Monday through Friday


8th grade Volleyball game Thursday at Post Falls starts at 3:30


Cross Country Practice - 2:30 - 4:00 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday


Golf Practice - Tuesdays and Thursdays parents pick up at 5:00.  Ride bus route 9, 4th in line, 1st wave


Tennis Practice - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 2:45-4:15 Wednesday 1:45-3:15




Buenos Dias, Amigos!  Yes, it is that exciting time of the year when we begin our adventure


towards our annual Costa Rica expedition. A lucky 14 students will travel to this lush and


biodiverse country with the goal of leaving it better than we found it. We will work with sea


turtles, meet Costa Rican families, experience organic farming and learn about how one man is


saving the exquisite butterflies of this beautiful country.



On 9/26, Mrs. Marine and Ms. Hagadone will host an informational meeting. Both you and a


parent need to attend as we give out a lot of vital information. We will start at 6:0o pm in room


15, Mrs. Marine's.
