First and last name. Candy, soda and sugary drinks are not allowed in the hallways or classrooms. Lunchtime ONLY!!!! Cell phones are NOT to be used during the school day. When you get to school they are to be turned off and stored in your locker and not brought out for any reason until the school day is over. If you are attending games at SMS you must stay in the gym during the game. If you leave you will not be allowed to re-enter the gym. Students MUST have a pass to return to a classroom after lunch, and they may NOT go back to their lockers after lunch. Go directly from the cafeteria/stage to outside. Attention: Library fees must be paid in order to attend school dances. The Valentine's Day Dance is quickly approaching. The deadline to pay fees is the Friday before the dance. Thank you The winner of the weekly library poster drawing is MADISON MCCLEARY! “Art for Human Rights” Sandpoint High School, Sandpoint Middle School, and Forrest Bird Charter School will have their art on display at the Panida Little Theater/POAC Office on First Avenue. The opening Artist’s reception is Monday January 16th at 5:30 pm. The art will be on display through February. A big congratulations to Benj Rogers, the 8th grade National Geography Bee Champion for Sandpoint Middle School. Benj and 7th grader, Alex Liddiard, used their geographical skills in this friendly competition. Ultimately, Benj won the contest when he correctly answered the question: The endangered snow leopard is being protected in the Annapurna Conservation Area, which include the Annapurna Massif in which Asian country? (answer: Nepal) Benj is now awaiting the results to determine if he will move on to the state round. See Next Page MATHCOUNTS meets today, Thursday, from 2:30-3:30 in Mr. Lynch's room 26.
