Students MUST have a pass to return to a classroom after lunch, and they may NOT go back to their lockers after lunch.  Go directly from the cafeteria/stage to outside.

If you have stickers on your lockers now would be a good time to start taking them off.  In the future please do not put stickers on lockers.

Auditions for Missoula Children's Theatre's production of Gulliver's Travels will be held on Monday April 24 at Farmin Stidwell Elementary in the gym followed by rehearsal from 6-8pm.  Auditions are open to students age 5 to grade 12.   

From the Library:  National Library Week is April 9th through April 15.  What do you like about libraries?  What do you like about our library at SMS?  Come to the library if you need a book for spring break.   

The library will be hosting a MIDDLE SCHOOL EXPRESSIONISM  lunch activity soon.  Yes - coloring will be involved!  More information to follow......

Underground Kindness is partnering with professional photographer, Marsha Lutz, and the Teen Center to offer a FREE 4 week PhotoVoice class.  Whether you want to make art with your photos or make a stronger impact with Social Media - come, meet some new people and learn something new.  With support from 7B drug free, we will meet Mondays and Thursdays at 4pm at the Teen Center on the corner of Pine and Division.  Come early, grab a snack & join the fun!  Everyone is welcome.

The forestry contest is quickly approaching! The date is set for May 11, 2017 If you are interested in testing your knowledge of the forest and getting a free barbecue lunch, come see Mr. Lyon in room 7 by March 24th to sign up and get additional information. I hope to see you soon!

End of the year 8th Grade Celebration

The 8th grade End of Year Celebration is at Silverwood Theme Park.  During the second semester, any student who is either failing two or more core classes (as reflected by their 2nd semester grades), has two or more school suspensions, or has excessive tardiness will not be eligible to attend the 8th grade End of the Year Celebration at Silverwood Theme Park.
