DANCE ALERT: Open up your library book. If it's overdue, you have two choices:
1) Return or renew the book
2) Miss the dance

FREE MOVIE!!!! The Perks of being a Wallflower will be showing November 2, 5:30 pm at the Panida Theater. After the movie there will be a panel discussion focusing on positive coping skills and the availability of community resources. Ipad minis and other items will be raffled off for those teens that attend the whole evening.
Attention all 7th and 8th graders. There will be a mandatory meeting for any of you interested in dance team. The meeting will be Tuesday, November 1st at 2:30 in the cafeteria. The meeting will last about 20-30 minutes, so make sure to plan for a ride home. Thanks!

There will be a mandatory meeting on Thursday Oct. 20th for all students wanting to participate in wrestling starting on Monday the 24th of October. Grade sheets will be given out. If your grade sheet is not filled out on Monday Oct.24th or you are receiving a "D" or "F" you will not be eligible to participate in our wrestling program. Please take care of all grades before the season begins.
Picture re-takes will be Thursday October 20. During 1st period in the cafeteria.
If you paid for an ASB sticker and have not yet had one put on your new Student ID card come see Tammy in the office.
Only 14 days left to save money on your yearbook!!! After November 1st the price will be $25.00.
The Middle School does not have room to store all the equipment that kids are bringing to school. You can no longer store it in the office so please do not take it in there. The Middle School will however help find a spot for our activities (golf,tennis) to place the equipment of the programs we sponsor. If you are a football or lacrosse player please make alternative plans in storing and retrieving your equipment.
Please help us with our 31st Annual Coats 4 Kids Drive! Cold days are just around the corner, and we want to make sure everyone has a coat to keep them warm! Drop off new or gently used coats, winter hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, and boots. We will accept all sizes from infants to adults. Starting September 9th until October 31 the donation box will be in the hall by the office.
The Halloween dance is coming up on Friday October 28th. All Library fines must be paid or you will not be able to attend the dance. The last day to pay fines will be Wednesday October 26th.

SMS has two lost and found areas. One is in the table area in the hallway near the school office, and the other area is the table at the 8th grade exit. Please check these areas for lost items. Thank you
