Students MUST have a pass to return to a classroom after lunch, and they may NOT go back to their lockers after lunch.  Go directly from the cafeteria/stage to outside.


Sources of Strength Peer Leaders, there will be a lunch time meeting to discuss and plan for upcoming events on Thursday, March 16th!  7th graders please meet in Mrs. Gaddie's room during 7th grade lunch; and  8th graders, please meet in Mrs. Granier's room during 8th grade lunch.  If you typically eat hot lunch but would like the cafeteria to make you a sack lunch for this day, please stop by Mrs. Lippi's office (no later than today) to order! Thanks and see you there! :-)


Did you receive your Reading is the Ticket form from your English teacher?  You can earn a free ticket to Silverwood by reading 10 hours for fun!!!  The deadline to turn in the Tally Sheet is TODAY.  


There will be a meeting for all students interested in track at SMS on Tuesday March 21 in the SMS gym at 2:30. It should last about 15-20 minutes. All paperwork and questions will be taken care of at this meeting.Track season starts on Monday, March 27 at 2:20 in the gym. If you are interested please attend.


Underground Kindness is partnering with professional photographer, Marsha Lutz, and the Teen Center to offer a FREE 4 week PhotoVoice class.  Whether you want to make art with your photos or make a stronger impact with Social Media - come, meet some new people and learn something new.  With support from 7B drug free, we will meet Mondays and Thursdays at 4pm at the Teen Center on the corner of Pine and Division.  Come early, grab a snack & join the fun!  Everyone is welcome.


The forestry contest is quickly approaching! The date is set for May 11, 2017 If you are interested in testing your knowledge of the forest and getting a free barbecue lunch, come see Mr. Lyon in room 7 by March 24th to sign up and get additional information. I hope to see you soon!


End of the year 8th Grade Celebration

The 8th grade End of Year Celebration is at Silverwood Theme Park.  During the second semester, any student who is either failing two or more core classes (as reflected by their 2nd semester grades), has two or more school suspensions, or has excessive tardiness will not be eligible to attend the 8th grade End of the Year Celebration at Silverwood Theme Park.
