SMS Intramural Coed Golf Update:

SMS Golf is dependent on the availability of the Elks golf course. Elks course management will open play at their discretion. So with that, we're hoping to have our first practice on **Monday, April 8th at 3:30 to 5 PM.

**IF the Elks course is open & available...

Practices are held Monday and Wednesdays every week starting **April 8th. The last practice will be on or around May 8th depending on when access to the Elks is granted. We aim to have a 5-week intramural golf season.

Participants who own golf clubs are encouraged to bring their clubs to practices. For those who don't have clubs, loaners will be provided. Participants will also need to bring appropriate clothing and footwear and be prepared for any kind of North Idaho weather.

Spring Sports Update:

Track: Assistant Superintendent McLaughlin has informed us that our SHS/SMS track facility is deemed "unfit" for competition. Such news has forced me to cancel the home meet we had scheduled for April 18th. I have reached out to other regional schools to see if SMS may attend another meet happening during this time. Please stay tuned for more information.

Co-ed Intramural Swim: Coach Emily has provided us with practice dates and times and I am happy to announce that we will have two swim meets with Moscow MS this spring. SMS swim will travel to Moscow on Friday, May 3rd for a meet at the UI swim center and compete with Moscow. Action starts at 4 PM. Moscow will then travel to Sandpoint on Friday, May 10th and compete with SMS at the Y with action starting at 5 PM.

Co-ed Intramural Golf: Coach DePrez is working hard to plan out the spring fundamental practice sessions out at the Sandpoint Elks. Golf at SMS takes place at the Elk's two days a week. Intramural golf is a non-travel, non-compete affair where students experience an introduction to the fundamentals of golf. Participation numbers can be a factor. When we have over 20 SMS golfers a rotational practice program will be implemented. Stay tuned for more golf information including practice times and other information.

Volleyball and Basketball 

Order Of Play:

Mon & Tues = A or 1's First, B or 2's Second.

W,TH,F = B or 2's First, A or 1's Second.

SMS ASB Fees: 

Students/parents need to pay Tammy Voelz, our SMS bookkeeper, the $30 ASB fee. ASB fees are required for participation in SMS activities. Upon payment students will be provided an ASB Card “sticker” which grants them access to all home events. 

K -12 Accident Insurance Coverage
