Welcome to the Sandpoint Middle School Social Studies Department!

In 7th Grade, students will deep dive into Ancient World History. Students will study the rise of civilization, Egypt, Greece, Rome, the Middle Ages, Ancient China, the Renaissance, the age of explorers and much much more! 

In 8th Grade, students will embark on a journey to understand the development of the United States. Through a comprehensive exploration of American history, we will examine the cultural, social, and economic transformations that have shaped the nation from its earliest days through the Civil War and Reconstruction Era.
